Daniel J. Riskin, MD, MBA, FACS, CEO and Co-Founder

Dan Riskin is the CEO of Health Fidelity. He has developed and commercialized products in the fields of healthcare analytics, healthcare services, and medical device.
Dan was named one of the top 35 innovators under 35 by Technology Review and won the AMA Leadership Award in 2005. He subsequently served on the Obama Campaign Healthcare Advisory Committee in 2008. He has been an invited speaker on medical technology creation and venture development at the NIH, NSF, NASA, DARPA, IBM, HP, Harvard, Stanford, and MIT.
Dan’s medical credentials include a MD from Boston University, residency in surgery at UCLA, and fellowship in critical care and acute care surgery at Stanford University. He is dual boarded in surgery and critical care and is on consulting faculty at Stanford University. His business training includes a MBA with a focus in biomedical engineering from MIT Sloan School of Management and the Stanford Biodesign Fellowship.
Anand Shroff, MS, MBA, Chief Technology and Product Officer and Co-Founder

Anand Shroff is a leader in healthcare data management and transformation technologies and has held executive positions in a number of successful healthcare technology companies. Prior to joining Health Fidelity, Anand was VP of HIE and EHR Products at Optum. He came to Optum by way of acquisition of Axolotl Corporation, a leader in the health information exchange (HIE) space. He introduced one of the first SOA platforms in the HIE industry which for multi-vendor collaboration.
A founding member of the Oracle Healthcare team, Anand was responsible for Oracle’s healthcare product portfolio that included healthcare analytics, clinical data management, and terminology mediation solutions. He launched the world’s first commercial implementations of the HL7 Version 3 Reference Information Model.
Anand holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley, and MS in Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a BE in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
